Quincy is our basset hound. Her birthday is January 18th, 2008. She has been with us since April 5th of 2008. She is Steve’s first dog. She is a really great house dog and a perfect backyard dog. She has an outdoor kennel where she spends most of her summer days. In poor weather, she stays inside. She really enjoys the backyard though in all seasons! She loves watching (and occasionally chasing) birds and squirrels and rabbits. She would probably chase anything else that happened along our yard. For a Basset Hound, she is surprisingly energetic in the yard. Quincy has also been very easy to train for the most part. She is a very important member of our family.
UPDATE! Quincy is (locally) famous! She has a cameo in a commercial for her dog day care. Check it out on the website for Keylore Kennels! Steve might not care for her “look”, but she sure is cute. She is playing with one of her best friends, Jo Jo. Good Job Quincy!
